UniTutors - Subjects Available - Purchase UniTutorials

UniTutor provides a simple interface to take the guesswork out of private tutoring. Follow these terms and conditions and we trust you will have a positive experience with us.

  • The first lesson with any UniTutor is free.
  • For second and subsequent UniTutorials, you must purchase tutorials in advance. UniTutors will not undertake tutoring on a credit basis.
  • You will need to print off your receipt or take a note of the receipt number to present to your tutor. Receipts without a feedback score and UniTutor name will not be accepted.
  • The minimum length of a tutorial is 1 hour. For longer tutorials you must present a second receipt.
  • There is no discount for multiple students. If you choose to bring a friend to a UniTutorial then you must both present a valid receipt.
  • We ask that you leave feedback and spread the word about UniTutor to reward excellence and assist fellow students. Please try to resolve any issues with your tutor directly before giving a score below 5.
  • UniTutors and students are to make scheduling arrangements directly, but we ask that you give reasonable (24 hr minimum) notice if for some reason you need to re-schedule or cancel. You may wish to exchange contact numbers to schedule tutorials.
  • UniTutor takes reasonable steps to vet tutors, including through interview and background checks but makes no guarantees with regard to the effectiveness of their tuition.
  • UniTutors should not complete students’ work for them, although it is certainly appropriate to help a student to complete their work, for example by checking over a draft and highlighting problems and offering solutions.
  • Time spent outside of UniTutorials looking over a student’s work may be counted as a tutorial, but this should be discussed with the student and the student must still sign your timesheet in the usual way in your next UniTutorial.
  • Tutors and students should attempt to resolve any dispute between oneanother before contacting UniTutor.
